How many of you are living in the regrets of our past and in fear of the future? When you live in the regrets of the past, you are constantly energizing what you wish you did not do and you focus on what happened as a result of committing that “mistake”. So in your attempt to resist mistakes of the past , you end up making the same over and over again – being caught up in a vicious cycle. Because what you resists, persists.

And what about the future? Future to many of us equals the unknown and so many of us are constantly living in the fear of the unknown. Future also to some of us means change and again change is scary. So what do we end up doing? Resisting change – knowing this is the only constant in life, knowing that change brings about personal growth and that through the experiences of change, we get to truly experience ourselves.

So, do you think living in fear or regrets is really “living”? is this your motivation in life? Do you really need to be motivated by fear or lack – is this what you want?

I had the greatest privilege to learn from a very wise soul that your body is the most sacred gift. It is the physical representation of being fully present in the here and now. Our thoughts and actions are always outside the NOW. But your body is always HERE & NOW. You cannot deny this can you? We look for life’s answers from nature and the universe – forgetting we can look within ourselves for the same answers. Are we so afraid to understand who we are? The answer to purely living and being lies in the truth that we are living in the eternal now. We are never really existing in the past or future – these are just points of reference to the now.

I read this in “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch that there is a “here” and “there”. But for the “here” and “there” to exist, there must be an “in between”. So, if we were to look at the manner in which we describe our timeline, there is a “past” and a “future” and the “in between” that holds the past and future in place is the eternal now. Even science now proves that the future affects our present and the past – which in essence means there is no past or future. Only an eternal now.

So instead of living in the memories of the past or the fear of the future – lets choose to (not live/survive) but to create our eternal now. Create not by judging anything to be good or bad, right or wrong, insane or boring, acceptable or unacceptable. Create what makes you feel comfortable and at ease in your body with who you are and who you wish to be. In total alignment with every aspect that is YOU.
